That was an inspiring post,
I would love to get a job in sound engineering, i studied it at college and really miss it, its just too hard to find a job in what you love...
Anyway, thanks for the post

I stepped away from engineering years ago, but have a chance once per year to re-live that experience on a small scale. I know how you feel, but keep looking for opportunities. Volunteer at a church or some local coffee shop or bar that has a house system. Alternatively, do something at home if you haven't done so already. I created a small recording rig in my apartment that is based on the analog stuff I used to use.

Don't let that passion slip away.
